Mission Statement

environment to learn and compete. Practices, games and
tournaments are carefully designed to advance the development of athletic
skills and the mental game, while instilling discipline, teamwork,
sportsmanship and integrity. Fusion Volleyball

by a highly qualified, professional staff. Athletes
will develop the physical and mental skills necessary
for competitive volleyball.
Frisco Youth Volleyball League provides a safe and fun environment for athletes
third through ninth grade to increase volleyball
skills and sports ethics through practices and league competition.
Fusion Volleyball Club provides high standards in USA
Volleyball Junior Olympic training fostered by a highly
qualified, professional staff. Athletes will develop the
physical and mental skills necessary for competitive volleyball.
Vision
The FAN Board of Directors and administrative team are carefully planning
for the strategic growth of the organization. They
continuously plan for the future needs of the area's junior athletes. As
the need increases, FAN will increase the number of teams and coaches,
however we will not sacrifice quality of training and
fees for the sake of a larger organization.
Organizations
Fusion Volleyball Club (5th year anniversary)
Frisco Fusion Volleyball Club, Inc was established in 2003 as a member of the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball.
In 2006, the club was formally integrated into Frisco Athletic Network, Inc. as a member of the non-profit
organization operating as Fusion Volleyball Club. We provide a safe, fun and highly competitive environment
where junior Olympic athletes who love the sport of volleyball can grow and develop their skills at reasonable fees.
FusionVBC offers a highly professional organization with experienced and knowledgeable coaches delivering the highest
standards in volleyball training
Frisco Youth Volleyball League
Frisco Youth Volleyball League was formally created in the fall of 2006 and
became the FAN's first organization hosting volleyball
leagues. Leagues are provided in the spring and fall, and encompass
8 games and one big tournament at the end of the season. FYVB relies on
wonderful volunteer coaches to teach volleyball to
children in grades 3 through 9. Along with Fusion coaches, our staff
provides training assistance to the volunteers through coaching manuals,
practical application of drills and assistance in
practices. Our coaches and athletes are also provided with a large clinic
each spring to enhance the training experience.
Additional benefits include game referees and score keepers trained through USA
Volleyball (USAV). The rules created for FYVB follow
USAV rules with exceptions for the younger age groups. Members
moving from FYVB to club volleyball will already have a good
understanding of USAV rules.
Volley Store
Additional "spirit wear" will be available for athletes as well as their
families and supporters at an additional cost. The
team spirit wear is provided by We've Got Spirit!
Sponsoring Partners
Sponsoring partners are very beneficial to an organization's image, therefore,
FAN is selective in the partnerships we form. These
partners help us to keep our costs low so that we may keep our club
fees lower.
FAN will promote our partners through our Website and use of products. We
encourage our athletes and their families to support
these partners through the purchase and use of their products and
services.
Website
Communication is critical to the success of any organization. FAN has created a
dynamic site on the World Wide Web at
www.FriscoVolleyball.net.
This site will provide registration information and
forms, the latest news and information about the organization,
team schedules and interesting news from the Region. Most importantly,
we'll post team schedules, results and athlete's
biographies for interested college recruiters.
Conclusion
All of us at FAN came together because of our love for the game. Each of us
jumped at the opportunity to coach so that we may
share our passion with junior athletes who have the same love
for volleyball. We pledge to provide a program that will stretch the
athlete's skills, provide a fun and safe environment
and maintain a quality staff and program in which our participating
families will be proud to associate with. Our
overall goal for FAN is to provide our athletes and their families with a
professionally run, well
organized, skill driven, family-friendly, fun organization with reasonably
priced fees. We are very anxious for the season to
get started and get the opportunity to work with the wonderfully
talented girls in this area. We look forward to meeting each of you!
